half-baked game recording feature in Steam now
the steamworks integration could be cool for gamedevs though
it seems like you can add icons to the timeline based on interacting with things in-game
kind of similar to how achievements work

and FFS, them using h264 for clips like this is dumb

yep, you can feed it all system audio+ mic
or just game audio
so, the way they save recordings is non-destructive
they could 100% give you the option to toggle all of those in the clip creation menu, and export at various file sizes
that's the killer feature I want
without that, it's fine, cool or whatnot
but if they let you toggle audiostreams and actually export given size constraints
that's value right there

I like it more with the tiles on the left rather than the symbol menu on the bottom
but it's slightly worse overall than the old design
