Replying to legorhin #jazardly I spent like 2 hours bubble jumping up the shaft from a place above the humming bird and you get blocked by the ghost bird at the top so there's no point
I am sure there is a way past the bird, but that sucks
I knew it would be possible to get up there though

limited run is a company that makes physical releases for indie games that would otherwise be digital only
I forget, I am sure Spooky will comment on this discussion later with the lore
Afaik, limited run fucked up the production side of their business hard
They had huge demand initially, scaled for that, and now they rely on (inherently) unreliable small run swag productions
Which slip, they have to delay delay delay
And they only make up for this by introducing artificial scarcity, chasing whales, and screwing over their early PO customers
The end product is still usually good/great
But they're extremely overpriced for just being a box you ultimately put on a shelf
And fan groups often do it better anyway, since they don't have to officially license anything
all of the postcredits eggs are kinda stupid
there were only ~8 of them or w/e the number was
but the ball and top don't make their puzzles any more interesting
the turtle egg though, now that one was BS

I'll take the other side of that, of all the metroidvanias it seems like Animal Well would be a terrible rando game
Bubble and frisbee are the only real mobility items that you can get skips out of
and remote*
I feel like wheel, ball, both lights are just for egg doors
slink blocks progression
but it's linear progression, and usually has vines/birds that prevent bubble/frisbee skips
idk, I'll give a rando a shot when its out, might as well
are you using 1st clock as the end goal?
so, correct me, but doesn't 2nd clock require all eggs

yeah ok, as a short rando (especially in an archipelago pool) I could see it working
I retract my contempt
because most of the push-switches require a fair bit of stick time, I'm inclined to agree
would need to be absurdly lucky on the bounces
and even then, probably not
maybe some of the slink-crow puzzles? though I don't think you can get a ball through the grate
