but it was a "fuck around" game where I learned how to surf

Never played Bedwars (base wars?) But the movement I've seen people have is insane and technical. I can't really name many games that are 3rd person with interesting movement

Bed wars seems to have a level of depth that devs refuse to offer in modern games. It's not intentional that it's like that, but that's usually what makes games fun. Especially with movement
