I think most of the quests have been decent, I'm ready to get into the next areas though

yeah i didnt do the main quest until i finished all of the first area

i didnt download the CC before release

so i made my main character a generic one

and my pawn is also a generic one

theres no point in making an anime girl or something small

because your height and weight actually do something

so being a buff burly man

is literally the best way to play

I made my character, but fucked up the walking animation

height = leg span = movement speed unironically

and had to go through the process to delete my savefile to restart

and weight = carrying capacity

so being a 7'10 super buff man

and yeah, I think 99% of people made their PC a giant man

is the only way to play

pawn carry weight, who cares

i dump all my materials on them

though you can also just

dump all your materials on your 3 or 4 pawn

then throw them in a river

and theyll tp to your stash

I'm usually the most anti-encumbrance system person

but even though it's less free than DD1

I haven't really been annoyed by it yet

maybe that's coming later

you really should never be bothered by it

unless youre autistic

and decide to carry tons of junk

I mean, that's me in every game

but it's been fine in DD2

nothing has annoyed me enough to bother to go get a mod to fix it

though I can imagine some people getting ticked off by various systems

i need a mod to boost the hp pools of everything

because by exploring everything i outleveled the game

I am surprised there's not been some secret hardmode or anything

hardmode was dlc

I was expecting a DS3 challenge shrine type thing

i think my biggest issue with the game is that its very obviously not made like "dragons dogma 2" but more made like "dragons dogma if we had a very big budget"

I wonder if they have ambitious DLC/expansion plans

Since it was like 3 bucks

the original game is very very good

By the end

I was advised to buy it

I like 2 more than 1 so far, but if it falls off in later areas that'll be a shame

the original has more monsters
