Did you play Spooky? Game looks very nice now, but I never gave it a chance previously.

but yeah, a bunch of us played on launch
They had a massive audience when they went live the first time, and then did what every studio does, and gave the game no meaningful updates other than a character or two

my main takeaway was that compared to smash it felt way less clear what shit was happening
