Finished Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, pretty good game. I forget who bought me it for christmas in 2022, but thanks

thats a shame, the game was full of so many callbacks to those games, made the experience a lot better
I spent the effort figuring out how to emulate DSiware games to play them
It wasn't acutally that bad, I just had to find the bios and arm files
Anyways Shantae is a fantastic game series and I understand why people like it now

the game is designed like those 2d platformer porn games stylistically, so I would call it gooner core, I think thats fair
Pirates curse and the first one are both close, I think pirates curse edges it out because the first game can be confusing (since its GBC and old games do not really tell you what to do all the time)
Yeah it was actually incredible how good it was for a GBC game
you could have told me it was a late gba game and I'd believe it
I prefer the zombie and shantae to risky
