It needs some balancing I think
the sniper needs to do more damage
We had the opposite issue, where we only got the ice map for most of the night
grenade launcher is the best
I would break stuff sometimes
idk, the turrets usually were not that big of a threat
I think its an alright alpha
the game being good highly depends on how early the alpha is compared to the final product
It kinda is the same niche as the new halo game
but sliding instead of grapple
I like tribes as a concept. I think speed based shooters are the best
Games with movement tech are satisfying to learn how to play at a higher level
Part of why TF2 is so good I think is that, there are so many types of movement tech
Even classes like engineer have movement tech (sentry jumping)

I am not a big shooter guy, but I liked it
idk why they did an open public test for Tribes
Pika and I were talking about that when we played
it's solid from a "shooting gun feels good" aspect
but there's not really a game rn
this feels like, concept stage, pre-pre-alpha

but I'd hope they were planning on 12-18 more months, before they even think about a launch and/or early access

and Tribes 3 was further behind the other
but yeah, I'll definitely play at launch, but I'm not sure if I see the game sticking around if they don't add A LOT

never any of their other games
