Both games had too much busy work with no payoff
I liked fixing the beach town
I don't even do that, I just like that you got to fix a town
I never used tarrytown for any of that either. I also just liked the idea of making a town
I was super excited at first because I thought all those hyrule reconstruction society stands were going to be like Tarrytown
the bubble gems was "what if we did korroks again, but also did korroks a different way"
and if you build something, NPCs people start using them or smt
yes
I thought the frogs were fun, before it became a quest chain
but the wells were just fun
never started that I guess
quests were a big let down
botw didn't have a ton of great ones, because it was sandbox-first
and somehow totk was a step down
Maybe I enjoyed the game more by not doing any story at all for like 50 hours and just walking around
I disagree with those being the most fun in any zelda game
they were okay
who the fuck plays zelda for combat though
botw and towk are probably about equal imo,
but botw by virtue of being first and nostalgia feels better
and most people think botw and totk are the best zelda games ever made, so I guess we are just weird
I think botw is top 3 for me
the whole "bad zelda game" thing just seems dumb to me
I get what it means, and I agree
it just seems like a dumb statement to preface all discussion of botw with
ror2 is actually the perfect port of ror to 3d
I don't think thats a fair comparison
