Idk its a game, I don't give a shit about my character being reasonable.
Might stem from the fact that games with character customization usually don't matter story wise
idk, I don't give a shit about the story of skyrim because the game was made just to have you wander around and ignore the story
give women a reason to be strong if you have to, like Nier
I find most games that have actual stories tend to not give you robust character customization
otherwise, yeah thematic is nice
because it detracts from the fact that they are trying tk tell a story
Cyberpunk was worse off, having char customization
fallout is a sandbox game so playing as a hobgoblin woman changes nothing
you just wander and explore unless its literally a linear RPG
Idk I've only seen some 3,4 and 76
3 and NV are def RPGs
does anyone mean 1 and 2 when they say fallout though, I know those are essentialy different games
They should do a Fallout 1/2 remake
give it to the redfall team
also, because it's funny
3 actually wanted to hava a wasteland, and not just be proto-skyrim
I'll conceed then, I've only seen bits and pieces of them
NV, 1 and 2 are all about how your character interacts with other characters, the enviroment and the choices you make- even 3 to some degree has the form of "do you nuke this entire tiny town for fun" or "do you poison literally all the water on the east coast to preform a selective genocide, or cure it making cleansed water"
