I'd never do the game hitless

honestly, if you are adding level select, if you make the achivement beat each level damageless
i got no hit mushroom master by accident while testing but couldn't do it intentionally
I'd 100% the game

any suggestions for the worst way to do the level select ui?
Its a slider
you have to get the slider in the correct range for the level
it does not snap
good idea the levels are arbitrary though so the min and max are not known technically
Other idea
make it so its a 50% chance every time you open it for the level select button to be in a different place on the menu
Give people a few random numbers and opperands
ok what if you have to roll dice to pick which level and you can use any number of dice
if the level you roll doesn't exist it just crashes
And force them to mathematically get the stage they want
You have to enter 16 digit level select codes
you have to enter the file hash of the level file

but it doesn't tell you what hash algorithm to use and it uses the most obscure one

you have to tell the funny wall joke expect the points are uncapped
and the funny score you get is the level it tries
you can cheese it by using a variable number of any 1-funny word though

I'd rather they just make 3 different preset faces
rather than do the hair/horn customization with a locked face
it makes the hair/ears/horns always feel out-of-place

what she means by that is they want to avoid is all the characters looking like stereotypical "white-heroes"
and use premade characters to add diversity in
if you give people sliders, they'll "wash away all the work we put into making this the most diverse game ever"
they had a full character creator in beta iirc, same one they used to make all the NPCs in the game
but they're restricting for the full-release to promote diversity
