they own a JP domain registered so some PO box in tokyo
but it's China all the way down
they're co-owned by the same Shanghai holding firm that owns http://lightning.games/zh/
who also publish all of their games in Asia
I could be wrong tbf
it could be a small group of actual JP devs
who just got bought by a Chinese company
but it's already so close to being a scam company to begin with
I just assume it's a scam all the way down
probably more to evade Chinese laws than Western ones
Japanese game has a higher view than chinese game if I were to hear about it
I would be less likely to trust a chinese one

I know bungie hasn't been doing as great anymore, certainly not the good ol' days, but seeing the name Marathon I had hair of interest.

the extraction shooter part gutted me, i loved the original Marathon. The art style shift is interesting even though I enjoyed the gritty older art for the games.
