WW rando is fun
botw is a bad rando game because it does not have a set inventory
Starship Troopers is an interesting game, very old school
as far as I can tell, average age of the playerbase is 40
but uh, idk if it's got any sort of staying power, mechanics are very rough, beyond what I'd expect from an old school team fps
Yeah, from what I've seen and heard of people playing it. It's fun, kinda jank in a number of places (more jank in others), and in it's current state, the staying power issue
Two game modes, #1 is kinda like training for #2. #3 hoard mode isn't out yet.
the base building part is fun but also kinda mindless
since it's 16 people all firing into the same 1-2 chokepoints
it's got more soul than the last bunch of F2P shooters we've tried
a LOT more soul
but between being paid and just a lack of a game mode that really sells the game
probably going to stumble
The base building varies wildly in difficulty. Depending entirely on where the objective lands and the area of the map your in. Or even in the first game mode, if you got access to rocket launchers

it's not even fair to call it an asset flip, they buy 100% of their assets from a store and just smash them together in-engine
but they use that good ol Chinese ingenuity to make it seem like a real game too
