just seems weird to cancel the whole thing unless there were other real problems
I’m not sure of all of the details behind it but I’m at work and can’t look too far into it right this second

I looked into it a little
sounds like they were putting a lot of requirements on studios
had to have X number of playable demos, X number of staff at their booths, had to provide ESA with all sorts of promotional material for overall E3 branding etc.
regardless, they actually had enough to still go forward with the show it seems like
80% of their booth space was full, even after the recent drop outs
they're doing a big physical event this year I think
in addition to the streams ofc
created the only viable gamer TV network, left at its peak and then watched it get run into the ground
