I rarely get anything but chanceys and pidgeys or whatever shitters exist
I don't have charmeleon so i can't run either of my charizard EXes or my base charizard
also the premium missions are all complete after that pull
did you empty the monthly shop aswell

it gives you exactly enough to buy every premium shop item
I made a metal deck that can be fun but it has no EXes so it probaly just loses to synergy

I rolled 5 on swanna when I only needed one once
for a type coverage pocket my swanna is frequently card of the game
I have multiple strong no-ex decks so I hope Dane's idea gets added
you get the same amount of experience in the higher difficulty so there is no reason to pick it

I just ran into a koga weezing deck
that deck is obnoxious
seems like there's a hard cap on how many gifts you can receive in a day
5 shop tickets a day from likes.

sure its fun enough
if you do it you should try the technique that polar posted
but if you ever want to kill some time and enjoy card collecting i think its pretty good
the dumbed down version of the card game is nice in some ways, but the fact that you are only playing for 3 points means you can just get steamrolled if you draw poorly at the start with no chance of recovery
and most of the EX cards are degenerate
I think they need to drop more trainer/item/etc cards in the mix
The actual TCG game has hundreds of them with different effects

the useless cards are pokedex and the scope because you only get 20 cards and your deck is weak if those fit in it
Pokedex has the niche use case of checking before you use a pokeball, since using a pokeball shuffles your deck
but that is about it
scope has the niche use case of being useful if you also run red card
the problem is, both of them require multiple items to be useful
instead of just being useful
Yeah if deck sizes were 40 cards, I think those would be better
red card is funny when it happens because since there are only 15 cards in the deck after the initial draw you probably get similar stuff back
actual tcg is 60 cards

how many energies do TCG decks tend to run?
according to google
tcg also has stuff like double/triple energies
so you get higher return per card on those
those could come in later seasons
I doubt it, since there are no energy cards
maybe you could get a thing to double an energy
I kind of almost wish they just kept energy cards in, but made it so you have a seperate energy deck/hand
so you can choose what energies to draw from each turn
Looking at some of these comp TCG decks is interesting
World champ of 2023 for TCG ran his 60 card deck as 13 mons, 7 energy, and 40 trainer cards
yeah, trainer cards are really stupid good
most decks run 30-40 trainer cards
and you really only need the minimum of pokemon since the bench exists
yea, i feel like despite the current lack of trainer cards it would be really easy to mill into your bench and evos otherwise
if we weren't limited to only 4 drawing cards I would have at least 50% trainer cards
