But for isekais where the fact that the characters have specific knowledge/things from a different world, you cannot easily divorce them from being an isekai

you could make shows like goblin slayer and danmachi an isekai, but they are not

in SAO, they never technically leave their world. I am willing to conceed it is an isekai in everything except the strictest definition

so NGNL, if there's a future plot point where Disboard is actually in the real world it suddenly becomes "not an isekai"
