Replying to polu #polutropos I really like the changing of resolution in Railgun S. It makes you focus on the dramatic moments more.
Railgun S just does that arc so much justice
that even if you know how it ends, I think it is worth watching
you know what also changes resolution a lot?
school rumble second season
yeah
that is the peak of the entire franchise
the team she fights?
yeah, you'll see more of them later
they sorta just show up in railgun S
I mean their motive was just "mercenary for hire"
which was shown in S
iirc

there were a few scenes where I think they took the easy road and just had a camera pan
I more didn't like the way they handled the military chick, the "Black Widow", don't spend time setting up S3 at the climax of S2
TP2 is out
yep, this week will kick off a ton of fan theory speculations
>demon slayer is only 46 minutes
I was promised an hour
I guess they ment an hour with commercials on jap tv
@Lute holy shit new demon slayer its aimer the op is by aimer ITS AIMER BOPIT AIMER
That was a fucking cold open scene in MT what the fuck lmao
cold open, straight into comfy opening
yeah
literal whiplash
So, not done the episode, but I guess I want to make my fan theory speculation. so dragon guy did not know who redeus was because he was not supposed to be there, since he was reincarnated in. Him being reincarnated in chaged what was supposed to happen in the world. The dragon god guy knows everything that was supposed to happen in the world I guess
Great episode
I think the interesting speculation will be how much the world "changed" by Rudy being thereas well as how much Orsted knows and why, and his relation to the Man-God (Hitogami)
MT could have become the show I was pitching in vc the other day if instead of being alive he was just born in another world again though
lol
Yeah for sure spooky
admit it spooky that would have been an even bigger twist
so, if they gave the longer version of the Rudy discussion at the end from the novels, I think you'd find a lot more of your pitch to be there
based
because he wonders to himself if it'll happen
super based
so, there's a detail idk if you caught
the wind magic he was casting
that's how he was breathing
Oh thats cool
after getting his lungs blown up
I did not catch that
I liked him modifying the fireball to the point where it kinda caught the dragon guy off guard
his first rock spinner thing
look at how much it fucks up his hand
yeah
clearly shows how skilled rudy is
he's weary of Rudy after that
but yeah, the big "fireball"
they did it way better than the novels
in the novels, they spend a full chapter with him testing and figuring it out ahead of time
anime, they just do it
it's paced way better
and I don't think it's confusing
yeah, I mean, it can just be infered that the testing of the fireball happened offscreen in the anime
which is fine
that does sound like bad pacing
There's a lot of monologuing in the novels, and it's well written
but it's the weakest part of the show, so I'm glad they've done almost none of it
I guess if they wanted to include it in the anime, they could have had him practising magic during one of the op montage sequences in a prior episode
tbh, I don't like when characters just have their internal voice take over
I think him thinking works when they do it
much more would be annoying
all of his spells, they spend a lot of time discussing the theory on in the novels
what exactly is happening
how he's designing them
I assume its based on physics of how things like fire work
