Mint,bopit, and I did a high school harem tierlist video

and I put to love-ru at the top

because it just has the most solid harem

but yeah

ok seriously how is railgun the one with tone issues and getting derailed. index is literally just touma showing up somewhere, magically guessing the villain's whole exigence and life story, then punching them in the face, x 4.

When I say tone, I mean jumping from super serious to light hearted slice of life fun the next episode while the ongoing arc hasn't been resolved.

watch it then you can do the tierlist with pirate and me

and maybe vinny if he watches it in a reasonable amount of time

Isn’t there like a reboot or something

it goes like this

to love-ru -> motto to love-ru -> darkness -> darkness 2 and I think there are OVA's \ OAD's inbetween each one that you want to watch too

each of the 3 entries is a bit distinct from the others as far as tone and adaptation style goes

but they do go in a linear pattern, no remake/reboot or anything

the original show

is its own thing though

while the plot is continuous, it is its own complete story

motto is more like a side story

darkness is its own overarching plot

Hm ok

and yeah

every season has OVAs

that are cannon

and continue the story

so you have to watch them

they usually have lower resolution though so

the original show is honest the best one

from a story standpoint

it is complete

I like the twin sister characters that get introduced later though

so the harem itself is at its peak in darkness

i also liked the original's visual style the most even though it was older

The only thing I know about this show is that the sister wants to fuck the main guy like usual and everyone is horny for momo

the original run was kinda an episodic monster of the week show

for the most part

motto is like slice of life spinoff

in the middle

its kinda just filler

between original and darkness

it gets you more used to the new characters before darkness

is what it's useful for i guess

although the OG series ova's are already really good for that

is the only one I think they don't introduce

which is jarring

she just kinda shows up
