Did a bunch of shows do double episode drops or something, I keep going to download my shows for a day, and noticing I somehow missed an episode despite the season just starting
I somehow missed E2 of the dukes daughter show, and now the guy lives with 3 sisters show Spooky hated
All of the panty and stocking 2 music being remixes of the original tunes is interesting

I think Water Mage has a lot of potential, but since it's a LN adap I sadly expect it will play things too safe
Dr.Stone may as well be labeled S8 at this point, because of how they do split cours, with each being its own self-contained arc
As much as I like it, I can't tell how much of that is sunk cost at this point
and Dainanaoji continues to be the best show that I think will filter 90% of people

I know I have some stuff from like 2008ish probably on my wheel of anime
Its mostly going to be shows between 2008 and 2014 (the period that is almost modern but before I was watching anime)
Anyways if there is an old show that does not have the trappings of most old shows (mainly godawful pacing), I'd consider watching it
also not 100+ episodes long
the actual volume of "old" shows worth watching isn't that high

Not the biggest fan of the older artstyle, I think some older artstyles can look nice, but some looks meh to me
there are probably <10 shows that I'd even recommend from the 80s (excluding movies and OVAs)

When I see an older show I've heard of I just assume Syren has seen it
1997-2007 imo is where a lot of classic shows came from
before the big upsurge in modern anime
I am not saying good shows did not come out beyond those years, but that is the peak of anime
or however the copypasta goes
I think 2008ish era has some charm when you were getting stuff like index, shana, etc
uh, original fate
those are the only things I can think of
but I know there is some good shows from that era
I think I said this in vc at some point
but Shana to me was the bridge between the old era and the new
