this episode of Shangra-la motivated me to go read the manga, and I have a theory about the LN now that I'll verify by reading it
I suspect the author writes in 10x more detail than is standard
they did a really good job adapting if it's the case

The anime (36 episodes) has adapted ~ 1/2 of the manga
