Anything less than that is “seen some of”

And if you’ve only seen one episode, you’ve only seen one episode, no special terminology needed

Given the most anime are only 12 episodes nowadays, I would say seeing half of it is enough to tell whether you like it or not

I wouldn't count that show specifically because it goes to extra dogshit in the last few episodes

Also Vinny my take has always been 4 episodes if it's a 12 episode anime. That's usually enough to give it time and decide to drop. I'd say 1/3rd

Anyway, my conclusion is that I feel I've "watched" Liar Liar, would obviously not say I've completed it, but I don't feel a distinction between that and any other show from that season I actually finished I think anime autism in regards to the idea of "dropping" a show somehow being its own different thing is also weird
