2 weeks of recap

and even someone as blind as me to animation mistakes saw some pretty glaring ones in last weeks episode

to note, the mistake i saw was during a band performance, the microphones and drums the band used would disappear and reappear in the scene when zoom ins and zoom outs happened

it was really obvious

I figured I'd let the season air before catching up on that

sad that it's in production hell

btw the band has a drummer, totally left out of the scene on zoom out, forgot about that mistake

according to rumours the animators for the scene were not able to communicate with each other at all

and were on crunch time

those are rumours though, obviously the studio isnt gonna just say stuff outright

The real rock band anime fans keep winning

Its my favourite non-sequel

although spice and wolf is also close (I count that as a non sequel since its a reboot)

Overall season wise, I'd say its my 3rd favourite behind konosuba and MT

I am really enjoying it

cough 3 episodes of blue archive in my downloads I have yet to watch cough

Episode 8 only needs to be quality checked

speaking of BA anime, they had an anime original scene in ep8

but overall its not as good as i would have hoped it could be

they really could have done better on fight scenes at least, cuz they werent gonna pull anyone in with volume 1 story

Need to hit MAPPA, then with any leftover fuel hit 8bit

i like slime and this is just more of the same so i am enjoying it even when its slow

if i pick out my weakest show right now its actually Salad bowl

(also the fight againt hinata was lame and worse than both the S1 op and this seasons OP that showed it)

Salad bowl is alright

I like that she build an elementary school harem last episode

it was fun at first but i feel less interested each episode.

I hate slime so much at this point

Salad Bowl turned out way more mundane than I had hoped

Salad bowl is one of the seasonals that I will occasionally be reminded of but never actively think about

honestly aristocrat ending up more interesting than salad bowl wasnt what i was expecting

at the start of season

like the "I lived next to the last dungeon so I am overpowered" show

i dropped that one pika lol

I enjoyed that show, I never remember it exists

Elf Bride basically completed its entire S1 arc in 4-5 episodes

so now is just kind of killing time until the season ends

oh

that 7th son trap show

is probably the biggest surprise of the season

I think it has the highest production budget of anything airing

it's basically Magi, if you've ever seen that show

but plays more into being funny

Oh about that show spooky, i;m not watching it, but Aniwave uploaded its episode last week under aristocrat so i spent like 2 minutes watching it thinking "wait did i black out last week" or something
