I just realized Ishura is the only show I am watching that ends this week
Everything else is 13 episodes for some reason

I do not assume it magically becomes way better in the second half
the last few episodes were good though

Dungeon Meshi has the weirdest pacing of any recent show I've seen

a cour is 11-13 episodes
so a 2 cour show will be around 24
Anime is broken up into 4 anime seasons for shows, each season a show runs through is refered to as a cour

many get multiple eds in a cour, very rarely a show has multiple ops in a cour
my one-hit kill sister got a mid season op switch for example (like 6 episodes in)
Or you can be monogatari, where every arc gets its own Ops, so you get 4-7 Ops a season
