They moved to what every other site that uses 2FA does, and allow phone based restoration for lost/broken authenticators
Also (my moment to shill) Google's Authenticator for whatever reason, doesn't have a good backup function
Use Authy, I promise it's secure
And even if it's not as pretty as Google's it works better
Also, the only reason it was a problem in the first place for Discord, for as long as it was
