Is there a difference between being in the car for many hours going somewhere as apposed to being in the car for a long time because waiting/traffic

do you people inheritly feel something different

or is it the same

it feels like less of a waste of time if you are at least moving

even if fundamentally it is the same

Any drive longer than 20-30 minutes has to have some worthwhile purpose at the end

It's why people with long commutes, or those who drive an hour into the city for dinner

If I had a longer drive to work, I'd move, or find another job

I could move, but it is cheaper to live at home

When I was at school, if I wasn't within 15 minutes to everything walking/driving I would have gone nuts

it's a me thing, but I fundamentally can't accept spending an hour+ a day, just getting to where I need to be

I enjoy the bus ride I just think about shit while on it

using my phone at all in the car gives me a headache

you should have your parents cover you with a blanket, see if that fixes your carsickness

i can chat kind fine- but i have to look up and stare off for a bit

but I love driving down the highway, and seeing kids suffocating in the back of other cars

just look out the window, air helps, if you tilt your head down at all it induces it

personally i use the seatbelt strap as a head cushion

if you bruise enough of your brain, maybe you'll stop sensing motion around you

turn yourself into a perfect gyroscope so that you cannot tell when you are turning/moving

As a kid, I could never play my gameboy advanced in the car, I'd puke in no time but then I got a gameboy SP, and something about the screen tilt made it 100% ok
