I know
I just hate one-off donations, because they aren't tied to anything in particular, and Patreon rewards people for future work, or regardless of the quality of what they put out
I want a way to tie a financial incentive, to doing good work
And I get, the real money is in whale chasing
offering perks for private chats or whatever on Patreon
Most are, and the ones that charge you by video might as well be monthly
rob took 2 breaks in 12 years

SummoningSalt is a good example, I don't want to pay the guy monthly, or per-video or whatever
but I've watched a few videos of his that I liked
I'd like to be able to financially reward him
without forcing him to whore himself out on Patreon
I want him to keep making videos, and I think it would be healthy to monetarilly reward him for past good videos

Some of the time, I want people to earn money from what they're doing
