there are plenty of fodder mobs they could have used

which could have worked without guns

respawning mobs ruined the game for me

but ever time I'd load back up a save

and the safe house I was in, was now surrounded by mobs again

after I had just cleared it

I just didn't want to play anymore

I did eventually beat the game

Unironically I forgot about Sekiro

and it turned out to be my GOTY so far

I thought it was going to turn out like the last 2 ninja games I've played

but no, likely GotY

I still think the game is a masterpiece, visually it's beautiful, the gameplay is fast and fluid, some of the designs are beautiful, story is OK could be better, but it's fine, and I think the difficulty is in a perfect sweet spot

unlike in Souls

I always appreciated in DS, being underleveled to a degree

and that being where the challenge came from

It's harder to be good at sekiro than DS

and I think that's where it stems from
