the game looks incredible

first area is pretty great

the first area is the only one that looks amazing

Slowly gets worse and worse, some areas better than others

just due to the water/swamp

No, forest looks great in some areas

especially the uh

Desert is the worst area in the game

has a fucking spider dungeon of bullshit

ratio of 500

on a 50GB torrent

like, the nipples in that game were like

actual nipples

but fuck the desert

first area felt like metro but open too, the catfish thing was cool, small areas were interesting, finding upgrades and new weapons

but it feels like they thought they gave you too much, so desert just had better everything with no upgrades

and you repeat for the next areas

until the ACTUAL metro area which is horrible and the worst part of metro imo, just gunning down mutants for hours

It would have been better, if the areas weren't so closed off from one another FFS, the whole concept of a metro line should have been traveling place to place

my favorite part of metro is talking to the characters, overhearing the lore of the metro and etc. sneaking through military camps, traveling with a guide through the metros, seeing anomolus shit

not a journey with 4 stops

they added ghouls

which basically ruined the game for me

there are plenty of fodder mobs they could have used

which could have worked without guns

cuz they needed them to pop out of the ground and diversity

respawning mobs ruined the game for me

but ever time I'd load back up a save

and the safe house I was in, was now surrounded by mobs again

after I had just cleared it

I just didn't want to play anymore

I did eventually beat the game

It sucks because

and it turned out to be my GOTY so far

I thought it was going to turn out like the last 2 ninja games I've played
