When it got time to actually name the bot, a friend on the server suggested Priscilla, and this idea appealed to me because I had been trying to summon for Priscilla for over three months with no success. "If the game isn't gonna give me a Priscilla, I'll just make one." So she was coded with the name PriscillaBot - and in fact, that's still the filename of her source code. The next day, I wake up to a message from the admin of the server, basically saying "I like Priscilla as well, but shouldn't we make the bot someone the casual FEH player will recognize?" He, knowing my waifuism, suggested Sakura, and I had to turn him down. So the two of us put the bot's identity up for a vote in the server, and PriscillaBot lost 6-7 in favor of EliseBot. Eventually, Gamepedia started seeing things similarly to the server in question, and the server-specific tier list was depricated. But by this point, I had already started experimenting with what would become her stats command, so Elise, rather than dying off, evolved into the community resource that you know her as today.
