What did attrition look like on your party members?
I assume some of your party members died at some point
Maybe not, but given some of the late-game bullshit I was expecting you to have lost at least someone
oh ok, I misunderstood honour mode then, I thought there were restrictions of reviving.
And for this run, what branch of magic were you spec'ing for dmg?
lol, I know resistances dictate it most of the time
I was just curious if there was a tree you favored
So it's been a while since I last min-maxed Divinity
I'm trying to remember
is the most efficient way to play though to complete as many quests/optional encounters as possible
or to avoid as much as you can
ok, That's what I was thinking
When you mentioned 5-6 runs, I was thinking you were almost trying to speedrun the game for some reason
and figured that maybe I was misremembering having to do all the same Act 1-2 fights over and over again
There were a few times I came close to loosing, the impish pocket realm and flooding it with deathfog/lava by accident, which would of lost red prince for good; BUT I took the biggest chance I've ever taken and did living on the edge on my player character then went inside, tornado-ed the ground to clear lava/deathfog.
Next was the doctor in arx, had to leave and come back a few times because at the start he casted bad shit on me/bad placement.
Also shadow prince attacking I almost died but I revive hopped behind a door and prepared and downed potions like a mad lad.
I almost lost to the Eternal in the blackpits, I lost like two to three other runs there too, that fight is INSANELY hard.
Alice alison was hard for a mage party but I was able fuck her up after a few tries of running away and coming back.So if you did lose lizard bro, who would you have replaced him with
a random NPC from the ship is all I would have accsess too. If I actually lost the red prince that would suck because it would lock me out of exp in act 4; but anyways, I probably would of just built another lizard? Or maybe I think I would of said "honor mode fuck it" and play solo honor mode?
Which is possible btw, I've seen people do it, even with difficulty mods (+2 to all foe levels).
I have trouble imagining a solo run in Divinity
ngl
I tried to do it once or twice
and I know I'm by no means even 10% as familiar with OS2 as you are
but fuck having to get favourable starts to every hard encounter
Jesus
Also, how the fuck is Red Prince one of the least popular companions
how many people have even beat the game let alone beat honor mode
I get that skeleton bro will be #1, especially with how many people play undead
I assume harder difficulties also unlock this
makes sense
brb speedruning honor mode
Red prince just seems low
since I think he;s the best companion
oh, oops
oh okok
