It's weird, because it's adapted from a DnD style RPG

Xcom is among my favorite games

But I honestly think it lacks any real creative lore/story

yes the world is literally just a standard post-apocalyptic setting but xcom isn't exactly a unique world either

xcom, is just aliens

Phoenix Point is probably going to be pretty good aside from the whole Epic exclusivity

i like the new unit types and the bosses that follow you

I just always liked it

It felt like 1 but with more enemy variety

And better graphics
