i think my definition of a remake is new assets and perhaps code to replace old ones. A port has to take something else, old things, move it to something else. An enhanced port has to take something else, old things, move it to something else, add a few more things and call it a day.

FE8 is not an enhanced port, because while old parts were reused, the main focus, or one of them was significantly changed.

Where things get hazy are when you have a remake disguised as a port Like Hat in Time or Rocket League for Switch
