"units are all different"
so the same minus they change some variables in the code
got it
I am just trying to gauge where exactly your limit for remake vs port falls
how about splatoon vs splatoon 2 as for sequel vs port vs remake
A remake is a REMAKING of the same game, with new assets or code, usually to fix things or make it look pretty.
A PORT is a game PORTED from one place to another, with little or few changes.
Nintendo does what spooky described as "Enhanced Ports" in which they PORT the game, but then add more content
I'd say splatoon 2 is a sequel
I would also I was just curious what max thought about it
assets not entirely new
weapons not entirely new
story yes
gameplay mostly the same
Pika, they changed all the weapons
At least, all their secondary fires
there are some carryovers
splatoon singleplayer was a selling point for me
and the main reason I bought 2
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'd say generally it's PvP game Pika
Story/salmon run are modes
I agree it is mostly a pvp game
Like COD has zombies and battle royale
that applies to you too max
but considering the story is what got dlc, not the pvp, story is not a non issue
Smash did advertise story in the last direct, is that not trying to sell the game based off of that? or was that trailer for nothing
and nintendo is marketing is based off what they think people want
so they advertised it, why would they?
if it is not to sell the game in some way
so story mode is an advertised part of the game that they tried to include to sell the game to anyone who was on the fence no?
they made that huge trailer and musical score, and you're saying it's not a selling point
I don't see a cinematic trailer for pvp matches
That is basically what the character trailers were dialga to be fair
Dialga
You're kidding
right
what about leg
I never said it was
I said it was a focus
Don't Stop Smashing!
The new Smash Bros Ultimate trailer syncs up way too well with "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen!
www.youtube.combut not a main focus
