Usually a word that relates to what the spell does
then add Ka for the stronger version
and other suffixes for AOE and etc.
I know it just is different
usually it's just "fire" or "ice"
Dragon quest is cartoony and silly, that's one of the things I like about it.

In game there's a spell called "zoom" and it's your fast travel, and you "zoom" into the air, but if you're inside you hit your head on the ceiling.

This generally makes me very happy, despite people maybe still being mad it wasn't someone they loved, or something. They really did "Hero" well and honestly it made me feel great.
