plus you can assume what they mean
Crack with any suffix will be ice, fizz with any suffix is fire, etc, then the actual spells are jusr essy to remember

They've always been like that
Usually a word that relates to what the spell does
then add Ka for the stronger version
and other suffixes for AOE and etc.
I know it just is different
usually it's just "fire" or "ice"
Dragon quest is cartoony and silly, that's one of the things I like about it.

In game there's a spell called "zoom" and it's your fast travel, and you "zoom" into the air, but if you're inside you hit your head on the ceiling.
