I want a moderate Dem party
Because there are dem policies I'd like to see explored
but not the insane shit they're peddling
reparations, 100% estate tax, Cap gains insanity
what good ideas do they even have at this point?
Energy, anti-interventionalism, gambling, (non-insane) healthcare measures, prison reform
none of these have to be democratic policies
they're just policies

I don't go visit my doc when my arm hurts or I get the sniffles

If you visit your doc twice a year, you should pay for two appointments
instead of paying monthly insurance premiums, a co-pay upon each visit, and have the doctor have to go through a retarded process to get paid themselves
the fact that insurance doesn't cover everything defeats the purpose of the insurance
it should only affect emergencies
The problem I have, and why I don't want to pay for insurance
is if I get into a real accident, I figure I'll be dead
I have trouble imagining situations where I'll come out ahead, paying into insurance
I'd rather take home the extra money, and stick it in my bank account
There's stuff that could probably be done to reduce prices too, but I won't pretend like that's an easy fix
