so i guess that factors in
not been playing legit but been playing lol
I'll be interested what real people think about Let's Go
Whether we're starved enough for another Pokemon game that all the stuff they've removed doesn't ruin the game
it looks quirky but fun
to me
plus, apparently Jessie and James make an appearance
http://images.nintendolife.com/news/2018/07/video_jessie_and_james_are_confirmed_for_pokemon_lets_go_pikachu_and_eevee/large.jpg
That...that can't be real
Why do they look like that
MC doesn't look that odd
lol
dee
see
now I know they're just pandering
The game's a gen 1 remake
I think it's supposed to be pandering
Yeah but damn it
I don't mind pandering when they're pandering to me
Max I know, I want an actual Pokemon game too
The last Pokemon game I liked was ORAS
It's not fair
the last pokemon i liked was the original ruby and sapphire
Kappa
no Kappa
Black 2 was the last one I really enjoyed playing all the way through, new 3DS ones have been a mixed bag
See
i just hope this game is difficult - S/M was difficult enough. Apparently Let's Go has 'Master Trainers' after the elite 4, 1 master for each type or something
It's
meant for kids
0% chance it's hard
fair point
It's meant for lets go players
0% chance of there being any difficulty
all pokemon games are for kids though, and a lot of them are difficult
Everyone says it's a bridge game
But why bank on nostalgia if you're gunning for new Pokemon players
Okay but this one
I actually think this is aimed more at older fans that got back into Pokemon through Pokemon Go
I almost feel like they're trying to see what they can get away with, if old fans will be baited along by nostalgia for this "Pokemon" game
According to everything I've seen, this is a core game, not a spin off
What
they said it was a spinoff
right
nope
it's part of the core series
that's from a review, no?
See
It's three things
Pandering to gen one kids.
Pandering to Pokemon Go people.
and, maybe those adults who now have kids and want them to experience the joy of Pokemon.
When I see Let's Go, from the catching, and how it looks mostly, it looks like it's really "For Kids"
I feel like they're going to lose the first one though,
I have trouble believing people who grew up with Pokemon want to play this
Go is huge though, and I'm sure this will do well
Well
S/M pandered to gen one people with alolan forms
I grew up with pokemon and I want to play this
I grew up with pokemon and I don't want to play this
But is it just because you're starved for a Pokemon game
That's the only thing tempting me
true
funny thing is, I never plays US/UM
Sun and moon were horrible for me
played*
I hated them
The hand holding was horrid
I enjoyed the originals, but I never played Ultra
I was going back and forth on getting this (just like Fallout 76) even if it wasn't what I wanted, maybe I'm a consumer whore enough to buy both
Ended up buying neither though
I couldn't go on a route for about 5 seconds without the worst rival ever coming up to me and telling me where to go or saying hi
the hand holding made it feel not fun at all
eh, it didnt bother me
I loved the Totems
When I play pokemon it should be my adventure, it always has been. Your rival may help, but it's mostly your adventure.
but in Sun and Moon
every 3 seconds someone shows up to tell you something or do something
Most of the time, It's only for the first hour or so you get hand-held
in Moon though, it's the entire game
hmm
I'm fine with slow starts, every RPG under the moon usually has one
I actually didnt notice it too much
hmmm
