FranXX was the first show I watched on JP tv, as it was airing

I get hung up when people praise a show for being good, if they don't like it

I watched it, and the best way I can sum up the series is
"The studio was really confident of every choice they made, and made nearly all the wrong choices"
it's more than that though, the long artsy music sequences, the broken storytelling, the visual clarity/clutter
