So Pika, at the end of each volume, they wrote a single special chapter for Megumin which are a side story, sold separately

so time-line wise and release wise, it's broken up

but the non-autistic way to read it is main series, then spinoffs

To be fair I cannot really converse about this because reading things and watching things have different context for order because of shit like that
