Volumes without Darkness are good
Volumes with her are meh
spinoffs (other than Explosions 1 and Mask 1) are a step below those
Also, whatever order you're reading them in is probably retarded
No reason to not just read the main series, and then spinoffs
release order is the only non autistic way to read/watch anything
anything else requires a degree of autism
Release order is super gay for Konosuba, because More Explosions came out chapter by chapter, between volumes
Main series --> spinoffs
is fine
Also Max, the official TL for MT is strange
it's not bad at all
yeah
I read vol 1 twice though last week
I wanted to know what the difference between them were
remember, I was stuck in an airport for like 10 hours
anyway, it's translated faithfully and is pretty good
Other than the usual refusal to use meme words
what does release order meant to you though Bopit?
if things are concurrent I would consume all of the one before going to the other
So Pika, at the end of each volume, they wrote a single special chapter for Megumin
which are a side story, sold separately
I see
so time-line wise and release wise, it's broken up
but the non-autistic way to read it is main series, then spinoffs
To be fair I cannot really converse about this because reading things and watching things have different context for order because of shit like that
The Dust spinoffs straight aren't worth it
and the later Megumin ones are pretty meh
I mean, Bopit, why does it even matter
The only proper order is to read the Dust story first, them explosions in reverse release, then the prime number versions of the main story then the remainder in chronological
it's an autistic order, but at the end of the day it's not like it really matters
that really depends on how intertwined the storys are, but if they are separate I agree that you should just finish one then move on to the next
I'm glad Konosuba ends next volume
My gripe with Konosuba, is they ran out of ideas around vol 6 or 7
