I think if people got better it could be somewhat interesting. You can actually "last hit" a creep during its death animation and it'll count for for you. If you kill a creep with a melee hit it will give you full bounty and not give the enemy the chance to deny.
Yea I'm interested in seeing actual gameplay at some point, because even for an alpha some of the mechanics sound scuffed. I'm interested in how a laning phase plays out but im not hopeful that this game will be good.
the distance from creep head to soul isnt that bad, but i dont think the system sounds fun. I wonder if the breakables around the map respawn or if the items are just there for the start
I would say that's crazy, but its not that out there. Dota has, imo, always suffered from TI feeling like the only tournament that mattered. Summits were for fun/community.
When do pros play the new patch? I'm assuming there's at least a months grace period or something, but I'd like to see how this plays out for people who are very good.
Yea, I know you can simply hover over them anytime pregame and in the match. It's just like you said though, it's an unneeded layer of complexity. I've had some LoL Vangaurd refugees ask me about playing Dota, and this update I'm sure makes it a bit more daunting for them.
