i did like the Ant queen boss, despite the small enemy swarm before the fight

oh phantom, he was also a fun fight

spooky i never talked about if the bosses were basic or not, just that i enjoyed the fights more, also idk if i'd call first sinner a basic boss, not complex, but not basic

though i do think nightmare king Grimm is HK in still up there as one of the best bosses between both games. i just think silksong had more good bosses than HK did

I like Silksong more because Controlling hornet is a lot more fun than the knight, and i like the boss fights more. everything else is pretty similar.

anyway i want to reiterate that bilewater is the single worst zone and i hate it. and its probably designed to be hated.

i can guess hunters memento is probably for completely filling out the hunters journal thing, but its weirdly not required for 100% completion

well yeah they should have a pantheon thing

the game is already pretty long and the map is way bigger than HK map

i dont think it needs it, but it would be nice

i wonder if they'll add free expansions to Silksong like they did to HK

idk spooky, they're a rich, 3 man team that didn't have a hard deadline. i could totally see them taking it easy for 7 years

but yeah, i liked it, combat was fun. i liked the challenge, and almost every boss was enjoyable enough. I think my favorites are First sinner and Lace, i can't think of a 3rd one right at this moment. harder choice for #3. and i do like exploring, for the most part.

i have a few criticism of silksong but i do think i enjoyed it a little more than i did hollow knight overall.

about that quest too, there's another ending you can get if you kill grandma silk in the middle of the quest. but you can't heal.

also i totally had the compass equipped during the last boss

the witch crest is the other crest i thought about using, i liked how it felt, but it has no yellow slots so i didnt end up using it because of that

bell just stops you from getting hurt when your heal is interrupted

you don't need bell

You can heal in mid-air anyway

All 3 of my blue slots are for heals. Ward bell, Fast heal, and the multibinder (4 health instead of 3)

i never used the poison thing lol
