Idk what to think. When I played HK, I really loved it and wanted to 100% it, but playng this legit makes me think worse of HK. I'm thinking now that if I went back to HK now, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to 100% it.

You’re definitely required to walk passed chorus, but yeah it’s interesting you can just skip the cutscene like that

I guess that's fair, but I wonder if the game is hard enough that taking one wipe could make you still fast enough

I feel like running on steel soul would make the speed run a lot less accessible

There’s seriously a TON of blind falls in this game. It always infuriates me because I’m impatient and have to force myself to slowwwwwly float down every single pit I see.

I liked Trobbio though, fun fight once you learn his attacks

I feel like Spooky's wording is opposite. Big beast that thrashes around is a lot more "basic" than the intricate duel fights haha

HK bosses felt a lot simpler, but I feel like I liked that better.

I guess I technically never fought Pure Knight or whatever he's called and Absolute Radiance for the same reasons

NKG is the only boss I never fought because I did the quest differently and didn't get to his fight and then I was never able to bother going through the Pantheon of Hollownest to reach him and fight him there.

I'm surprised that you enjoyed it more than HK. I haven't finished Silksong yet, and it's been many years since I touched HK, but I don't remember getting nearly as frustrated ay anything non-pantheon in HK. Mind you, I still have been enjoyed Silksong quite a bit, but HK feels like the better designed game overall. D

and architect just requires me grinding for money
