like the only characters I actually dislike in 2 are the universally hated ones lol

I just think 2 released at a better point in my life, has more characters I care about and thus wins out for me personally

they're both very important to me

they're the only ones that do anything

the only fucking characters that actually matter in xbc1 are shulk and fiora (and one spoiler character)

because holy fuck she also does nothing in main story

xbc1 has extremely strong character introductions

and idk, people shit on the gacha shit but it's not like it requires outside input, and it makes replaying the game more interesting since you could just get a completely different set of blades

2 has a good cast that stays relevant even after their introductions or personal arcs

xbc1 has a lot of characters that show up, do one thing and then they're irrelevant for the rest of the plot

I love both xbc1 and 2, 2 wins out by a little bit for me because I prefer the depth of the combat combined with a more character-driven story

and tantal/yggdrasil are some of my favorite songs on the ost overall

for 2 I have distinct memories of all the big field themes honestly

but that's the complete opposite for 1/2

like apart from 1 or 2 outliers I can't personally remember much field music from x

I do think x has some absolute bangers on the ost, but a lot of the general themes are weaker than xb1/2

zanza's theme from xb1 is better than like 70% of the 2 ost, but I just prefer a lot of the songs from two over the others from 1

I think xenoblade 2 has the best OST overall, but that is also my favorite game of all time

I have songs I love from all three games

I think it's pretty pointless to argue about tbh lol, it's all preference
