old likes, should be locked, but new likes, idk it would really make a difference would it

not sure if likes should be possible, as likes are private now

it should allow you to view their posts, but then say you can comment you are blocked when you try to comment

it would be dumb if they allowed you to interact with someone who blocked you, ie comment on their post. And it like not show for you as a comment on your post but others could see it.

so what's the difference

and well, you could always just view someones tweet while logged out if they had blocked you

you need to have the ability to block people from your own feed, pretty sure it doesn't matter that people you block can view your own feed as long as you can't see them interact with you

bsky has much more normal folks than mastodon from my experience

I just wish bsky failed and folks went to like default mastodon or something

even when these were both coming out at the same time it was obvious which one would take off

might as well make it part of the successful protocol

if you are gonna try to do the same thing, which they kinda are with their aproto

so you can be the catch-all, some folk want that, and then you can interact with folks who don't want to be in the catch-all

it could and should still be apart of that. by default you just stay in the bsky fedi, if ya know what you're doing and want to, then you follow folks from others or add a whole feed. also bsky app is great, would love to log into infosec.exchange account on it

imagine if all those folks moving to bluesky were on activity pub... can't compete with twitter like this
