Season 3 gets that high on customizability alone, and for it's overall improvements to the shop system. There's a LOT really good in season 3 that can be adapted and changed pretty easily with some work.

nuren spirit rush is easily the funniest ability ever written
coe sitting in a corner for a collective 6 hours? perfect
and yeah obviously, Nuren was the peak of game design Kappa
for actual gameplay system
I think I'd go, worst to best

There's still something incredibly fucking funny
about "We have to limit Anytimes per combat, players get far too many free actiosn in combat"
"So we're nerfing the game to 3 anytimes per combat"
"Also all limiteds are free anytimes now don't worry abotu it"
yeah Season 3 is easily the worst balance of the show, just because of
jesus fuckin christ LIMITEDS WHY?
My goal at some point is to boot up Season 3 with one tweak
Which is 1 anytime per round, with the season 3 rules on what anytimes could be

I wish I could convince my d&d friends to try season 3 urealms
but yeah, being frank, I appreciated URealms being open on the sex stuff a lot. Is it a little cringe looking back on it now? Yeah for sure. But it did something not a lot of other TTRPG stuff did back then, and still don't do now.
We get the flashback then
what I was referencing lmfao
That's gobos, Gent
and yeah, Sunswords was Kallark and Gwenyth
gobos of pat had the "I need you inside of me, Justin" which was. not great lmao
and gobos of pat was before that
nah sunswords was before that
"Like a tree, Romain!"
Unseen Rogues
yeah
I, obviously, have very little concern with the sexual stuff in the main show. I think it was one of the unique things about the show compared to a lot of other more santized and "Safe" TTRPG media.
the metaplot of "yeah the sandbolds were kinda awful huh" was REALLY funny in retrospect
also, while I think it made for a better metaplot
Giving Milbee an Ancient Sandbold PC was a decision
I mean in sandbolds, the backgrounds rolled included romantic and slave so
Bei Mei Xhirt is still the best part of AZ, tbf
There's not many shows that can do "goofy fun anime haha" campaign and "The Cast Commits Genocide" at the same time
because the first grand paladin was Bruce+Birgo
No, just bruce and virgo
the hindsight on the Grand Paladin is awful tbh
because it goes from this cool anicent tradition of dozens of strong willed men and women who've died to
two guys
like wut
I know I'm in the minority in the chat for really enjoying the Lyn Azveltara stuff
(except Last Beenu but that's because that entire campaign was one of the worst cases of on screen Rob railroading)
and yeah, it really was a shocker that we barely saw Lance after
I voted Gwyenth for that, and also because I thought it would be more interesting to build onto new lore we hadn't seen anything before(Which did lead to the focus on the elf lore which I liked) vs retreading DvZ a lot
INSANE
and even that took like 1.5 seasons to get to
which was never explained what the fuck the afterlife actually was if it did exist, nor why ageless didn't go to it
One of the worst aspects of the ageless plotline was the confusion on the downside, which to this day was never clarified
of "Oh well when you die, your soul goes to the afterlife, unless you were ageless"
he wouldn't stop being a murderous scumfuck pirate
War was possibly the worst DD ever chosen
bopen would still be being Bopen even if Unity was chosen
The real problem with the ageless was it's forced link to Bopen's plotline
If Deadlantis hadn't gone down the way it did, and we still had the muliple factions of ageless with differing opinions? Would've been great
yeah
I'm personally fine with the idea of "When the cast are controlling characters they can do shit that is far beyond their capability" because it matches with how NPC PCs vs PCs had been treated up to that point
but the exact way it was done and it's descent into bopen circlejerk was annoying af
And that the Deadbones character had a once per campaign open a portal to anywhere thing that was meant to be an escape but she willingly converted
Meaning the ageless had a way to go anywhere no matter how protected
I remember that it got hijacked by ageless plot
figured I'd just check directly lmfao
also Gent, did you still have those Rob DMs to repost
fucking holy light, the "roll and restore that much stamina" took 3 max health every cast
remember when healing was so broken and powerful and unreasonable that every single heal in the game permenantly lowered the maximum stamina of the caster
and never buffs anything
it was basically Rob nerfs whatever he wants for 8 hours
