the "didn't tell Megan part" is my conjecture, because I can't possibly know what he said to her
but based on what he's said and what HiveQueen's husband said, Rob just showed up and the first thing he had him do was call Megan to save her from worrying
could have just meant "tell her you arrived safely"
but I took it to mean he hadn't told Megan where he was going
