I like OpenMediaVault
and I swear I'm the only one
everyone else shills Unraid
which, fine it's good software
but I hate using it
same
I've been burned by unraid way too much
trying to get their ZFS feature to work
I'm pretty lazy now, I used to build jails on FreeNAS/TrueNAS to run all my software
but now that I have a dedicated Proxmox box, I just spin-up VMs for everything
wildly innefficient
but it beats containerizing everything
I've got regi for that too
HomeAssist is the next project I'm tackling
I don't have that much to integrate rn

they have their OS available, and I have it running on a raspi rn
I don't like their premium pricing scheme, but so far the free version's been alright
