Replying to quailcakes #quailcakes this is totally random, but is there any documented history about what happened between rawb / the buffalo wizards? i just noticed none of them follow him on twitter and didn't know if there was more to everything
It depends exactly what phase of BW you're talking about, Justin's the one who has opened up the most about what went on behind the scenes, but you can also get Spooky's meta commentary on the overall trajectory of the projects and why BW was wound down how it was
If you just mean why no one likes Rob anymore from that group:
Rob is incapable of managing professional and personal relationships with someone at the same time
once a friend/fan becomes involved with him professionally, it comes at the death of their personal relationship
Rob warns people of this ahead of time, but people don't believe him until they experience it
Buffalo Wizards in general was also poorly timed, it was too late to ride the early wave of internet content groups, and to early to ride the one that came after it
LoM was such a big initial success, Rob wanted to capitalize on it by having dedicated content creators available to make things for it, hence BW forming. Once Unforgotten Realms Live kicked off and exploded, Rob chose to focus more time on maintaining that, and with how he had set up BW to run through him, that lack of time and planning meant there wasn't going to be a future for BW.

Since Spooky posted, to follow up, here is a scattershot of random BW and BW adjacent people I remember and how they feel about Rob and why:
Justin - see leaked justin posts about how Rob was abusing him behind the scenes of urealms live
Coestar - friends with Justin, so you can guess why he does not like Rob
Deadbones - Got screwed over by Rob skizo killing urealms live, and wanted nothing to do with him
Puase - Rob got mad at him for not editing his "dvz" revival videos, not sure if they are friends or not, but Pause is checked out of content creation anyways.
Shay- off the internet
Spyd - I forget, I feel like there is some lore but I am forgetting
Roamin - still friends with Rob, but off the internet
Nisovin - Does not like Rob, does not talk about his time working on the Rob stuff so clearly wants to move on.
Slager - I have no idea
Robs current friend group is just people you would not know (and we are like 3 or 4 groups deep of him making a new group and replacing people). He has 3 or 4 people, everyone else including all the people you don't know, are gone

Slagar was the username for ElectricityMan
Spyd also seems to have beaten brain cancer which is good, he's mostly off the internet and posts once/year on Twitter about his kid
And technically there's also Vankz, who was a BW for 1 month or thereabouts, who was Spyd's friend/roommate I can't remember
Basically, everyone either hates Rob, or is off the internet (or both)
we're almost to the point where Rob will have stopped doing stuff for as long as he was
thought I had seeing Buffalo Wizards videos are 10 years old now
and we're almost 5 years removed from Rob quitting at this point

What actually happened is Rob had a bit of a mental breakdown, got mad at people pointing out his content changed and he was no longer funny, so he hid all the content with plans to put it behind a paywall

yeah not much recently, but after the end of URealms it's been a strange period of him spiraling down
he's sort of doing what I thought he should though, which is he's basically left the internet at this point, he might stream for fun 1-2 times a month and runs a small community minecraft server
but he's done making videos or working on big projects
and he honestly seems better for it, he's been using drugs less and seems more stable mentally
