Rob is boring now, but he had a skitzophrenic arc for like 3 years
the momma rupert stuff was a part of that arc
yeah
He is (was?) medicated at some point in the last year after being involentarily commited to a mental facility by his family
he then went on to have a bad break up with his long term girlfriend megan (her side of that pinned in #rawb )
Nothing really happened after that, other than one of his server people and personal friends being outed as a sexpest, which imploded his corruent community
he has some non internet job at this point, and is basically checked out of doing internet stuff for the most part
Yeah, luckily no one dropped a large amount of money on that here

He did refund some of that
to his credit
then he ran out of money and just stopped
he had no obligation to refund anyone, I do not think Rob was in the wrong for his kickstarter failing, he was in the wrong for not cancelling it years earlier
The main thing that screwed him was his divorce with his wife, who was doing the art
which kind of just set everything back
