Replying to Dane #princelydone Spark is right though. No one can actually tell the difference its purely for braggin rights about how big your fps and k and whatever is
Dane it's a bit different from like audio quality or something, one literally has more pixels
Pirate, can you explain that again, but pretend you are talking to a chinese woman who just does not get it and needs chat gpt to help her
I'm free from that now
Pirate I need to know how the sound has more pixels
Replying to legorhin #jazardly just get a wife
a wife would be outside of his size parameters, a child would be more to-spec
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak that will imrpove your experienve 100 fold more than a 4k monitor would
multimonitors are useless, you are only ever going to be looking at one thing at a time. if it takes you longer to switch to whatever you want to look at next than it does to turn your head to look at another monitor then you are using the computer wrong
Mint, that is just straight up untrue
the easiest counterpoint is fullscreen game with discord next to your monitor
the next easiest one which is my most common use case is doing math I have multiple things pulled up on multiple monitors so I can cross reference things
Mint, this is up there for top retarded takes you have
the next highest is not realizing the palestinians deserved it
Anyways, loosing 2-3 seconds per page swap when you are doing things across 3-5 pages is stupid
2 monitors is a strict improvement, 3 is debatable, 4 is overkill
Mint that is just wrong
You can literally do everything you can do with one monitor, but more optimally with two
Mint, how often are you doing 20 things at once
how often are you doing 2-3 in comparison
This is what your number of things you are doing chart is going to look like
if not more extreme
the fact that you linux is the least surprising thing when you really think about how counter intuitively you do things for no reason
Mint, in what world is tabbing 20 windows faster than having 2-3 monitors
and tabbing 50x less
Now imagine if you had 3 monitors and were not using a tiny ass laptop screen
and tell me to my face that would not make things easier
Mint, 3pf these are code, 1 is just a file explorer, 1 is discord, and 1 is just your desktop home page
What the fuck are 2-4
Yeah so none of those need to always be open
if you are actively working, have teams up on one monitor, web browser on another with an outlook tab on it, and it will go "PING" when you recieve an email
if you are not actively working, do not need teams open
idk what the fuck phone system is
but I doubt you need it
Mint I do not see how any of this would be more than my 3 monitors can handle
especially considering they do not all need to be full screen
Yeah, then you do not run multiple desktops
that is literally a self inflicted issue that you do not need to do
I think your system is ingenious if you are poor and need multiple monitors but cannot afford them and have to work off of a shitty laptop
but it is just straight up mogged by having multiple monitors
"so multi desktops is a must" -False and wrong
"having multi moniotrs makes it very hard to keep track of which desktops are where" - Also just wrong, and also the same exact thing can be said for "which desktop is what thing" so its a non point
Okay, you don't have to
just put the thing you want to use over it
Anyways you are wrong and stupid and also retarded, I am going to go back to studying
jf i am not using it actively, i close it, everything else needs to be in its usable state, either full screen or split screen alongside another window. dont want things stacked on top of eachother either because then you loose stuff behind windows and it takes forever to move things out of the way
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak This is what your number of things you are doing chart is going to look like
Poisson pmf found
Lmao thanks for calling me on that
